Q Why is Budgetly changing the plans?

At the heart of our new pricing plans is a commitment to innovation and value. We understand that in order to exceed your expectations, we must continue to invest in our product. Our new pricing plans enable us to do that, and we are committed to using customer feedback to drive innovation and improvement to our product. 

Q What are the new plans?

The new Budgetly plans are:

  • Essentials includes 4 physical or virtual cards with all the core features you need to operate successfully and with ease.
  • Premium includes 10 physical or virtual cards plus additional features and tools to help take your financial operations to the next level with more flexibility, control and automation.

Q. What's new and improved with the plans?

New Features (Premium Plan);

  • Automated GST Extraction - Save a minimum of 4 hours for every 250 transactions with GST amounts automatically extracted from receipts. 
  • Daily Budgets - for greater flexibility and control.
  • Custom Budget Reset Date - choose when your budgets reset, any day or week. 

New and Improved (All Plans);

  • Advanced Filtering - by missing receipt, GST, category or tag on the mobile app.
  • Advanced Filtering - by budget, category, card, tag and user on the mobile app. 
  • See Other User's Transactions - as an admin or budget owner on the mobile app. 
  • Improved Receipt Capture - from transaction list and details views on the mobile and web app. 
  • Improved Transaction Details - with clearer input, actions, and access to information on the mobile and web app. 
  • Faster GST Input - from the transactions list view on the web app. 

Q What is happening with the Standard plan?

The Standard plan will no longer be available after 30 June 2023.

Q. What do the plan changes mean for me?

Some existing features have moved from Standard to Premium;

  1. Fortnightly Budgets
  2. Default Category and Tag on Budgets
  3. Tags
  4. Money Requests
  5. Shared Card User
  6. Restrict ATM withdrawals

You'll also benefit more with these new features in Premium;

  1. Automated GST Extraction
  2. Custom Budget Resets 
  3. Daily Budgets

Q Will the new plans cost more?

Essentials Plan
  • if you have 4 or more cards you will save $10 per month.
  • If you have 3 cards you will not pay more.
  • If you have 2 cards you will pay $10 per month more.
  • If you have 1 card you will pay $20 per month more.
The free included virtual card on your current Standard plan, can now be your choice of virtual or physical card.
 
Premium Plan

Moving to Premium will cost more as it has more features, benefits and cards included.

Q How do I upgrade my plan?

Upgrading to a new plan can be performed by emailing support@budgetly.com.au.

Q How will upgrading affect my current billing?

  • Upgrading to a new plan is instant.
  • Billing period renews.  
  • A prorated credit is applied for the remaining period left on the Standard plan.

Q How do I downgrade my plans?

Downgrades can be performed by emailing support@budgetly.com.au

Q How will downgrading affect my current billing?

  • Downgrades are instant.
  • Billing period remains the same.
  • No prorated credit is applied for the remaining period on the previous plan.

Q Can I switch back to the Standard plan after upgrading to one of the new plans?

No. The Standard plan will no longer be available after 30 June 2023.
